What is an emergency?
Emergency maintenance would be classified as anything that
"directly endangers a person or the rental property itself, and not addressing the matter promptly will result in damage to the property or could cause injury to a person."​
OR Any fault or damage that makes the rented premises unsafe or unsecure.

In the event of storm damage, please contact 132 500

Ultimately we want your safety to be the highest priority, and our trades may make the decision on if attendance is required out of hours.
Water Leak
See if you can determine where the leak is coming from. If possible, isolate the water mains and contact our plumber. Please ensure you notify us of this emergency as soon as possible
In the event of severe flooding, we recommend taking as many photos as possible for potential insurance claims.
No Electricity/Power
Have you checked if other homes in your street have no power? It might be SAPN are working on this issue.
Perhaps you recently plugged in a new appliance. We recommend checking the mains power to confirm which circuit may be tripped, or if all are tripped.
If none of these are the solution, contact our electrician for further advice
Blocked Toilet
If you have more than 1 toilet, this would not be considered an emergency.
If this is your only toilet, please contact our plumber directly.
No Hot Water
Whilst this is absolutely inconvenient, it's not always an emergency. Is there hot water to all of the taps, or none at all?
Has the pilot light blown out?
Give our friendly plumbers a call to work through if this is an emergency
Gas Leak
If you can, isolate the gas at the mains switch.
This will ensure your safety until further investigations can be done.

Locked Out or Access Issues
If there is an access issue or something wrong with a door and it is your only access, this is considered an emergency and you can contact the locksmith directly.

If you lock yourself out, you would need to call our friendly locksmith for access at your cost.
